NABC organises different events to keep you in contact with other entrepreneurs and Africa's opportunities. Our NABC events offer you first hand information and valuable contacts. Reliable contacts are very important in doing business is Africa. NABC has a large and diverse network consisting of amongst others African entrepreneurs, Dutch entrepreneurs in Africa, African entrepreneurs, investment offices, chambers of commerce, embassies and governments.
Activities that we organise:
Networking event 'A networking event is a perfect activity to exchange valuable information and contacts between NABC's associated businesses and depending on the nature of the event for example Africa's ambassadors. So if you are interested in doing business in/ with Africa this will be an important activity.'
Africa Business Club 'To have some more networking meetings where you can share your own recent Africa experiences, we decided to organize the NABC Africa Business Club. Every third Thursday of the month we gather for a short presentation and then it is time to share your own experiences around the map of Africa. These meetings are an excellent way to maintain and expand your network in a pleasant way.'
Seminar 'An example of a past seminar is the one on doing business in Mozambique, where participants were able to meet Mozambique business leaders and government officials of the presidential delegation in the Netherlands. During a seminar NABC offers participants the opportunity to learn more on a certain subject and exchange information amongst each other.'
Dinner 'During a dinner NABC members have to opportunity to meet with African ambassadors accredited to the Netherlands. Ambassadors present their thought on doing business in Africa and participants have the opportunity to ask questions to ambassadors of the countries of their interest.'
Trade Missions 'Trade missions offer you the possibility to fully explore an African country; they will provide the first step in doing business in that country. The program is custom made for each company to fulfil to its unique interests and goals.'
NABC organises trade missions with elaborate programs which last a couple of days including activities such as matchmaking with African companies, company visits, seminars where presentations are held about particular subjects of your companies interest in doing business in Africa, business dinners as well as many other activities.
Custom made program Many Dutch companies have joined trade missions to Africa. Successful matchmaking events take place where large numbers of local companies attend. It is important to stress that the program is custom made for your business and therefore can fulfil to your unique interests and goals. Participating companies are highly satisfied about the trade missions and make very useful contacts.
NABC MAGAZINE NABC publishes a yearly magazine that contains an overview of our activities and our network. An agenda and many testimonials of former co-operations are also parts of the yearbook. In close cooperation with DHL and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the magazines is already dispersed among all the embassies and consulates of the Netherlands in Africa which includes 28 COUNTRIES.
NABC will use the magazine as its business card during our activities in Africa as well. NABC members are more than welcome to order additional magazines for their visits to the African continent as well. It is an excellent opportunity to increase your own profile and promote NABC as the platform for Dutch – Netherlands trade and investment relations. A win – win situation!
