Due to a lack of storage capacity and a big water shortage, the Algerian government has granted the water sector the highest priority. The Algerian government is investing 19 milliard USD in the period 2010 – 2014 to develop Algeria’s water management and water infrastructure. NABC and Burdock maintain close contact with the Ministry of Water in Algeria and the Algerian Embassy in the Netherlands. Therefore, we are informed of the fact that Algeria has an urgent need for knowledge and investments from the Netherlands. We already received an enormous amount of information from the Algerian government about the future projects and tenders.
