In cooperation with the EVD and SANEC, NABC organizes a trade mission to South-Africa and Mozambique from May 10th - May 17th 2009. The following places will be visited during the trade mission: Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in South Africa, and Maputo and possibly Beira in Mozambique.

The trade mission will be under supervision of Minister of Development Cooperation, Bert Koenders and Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, Frank Heemskerk.

With the upcoming World Cup Finals in 2010 there are many concrete investments planned in South-Africa. While South-Africa is not immune for the worldwide economic crisis, these investments have already led to an enormous economic impulse. Especially for the water technology sector there are many opportunities! This mission offers you a range of possibilities to expose your expertise and products in order to contribute to the South-African challenge to enhance the growth in the water sector. Mozambique is a relatively young growth market in Southern Africa. With support of international financial institutions huge investments are planned to take place in the harbors (Maputo & Beira), airports and hinterland connections. Dutch expertise and technology in this field are extremely well developed, which should be taken to our advantage.

We kindly invite companies and organizations active in the water and infrastructure sector to participate in this mission. The trade mission offers you as entrepreneur the possibility to meet potential business partners and offers an neutral insight in the possibilities that both markets offer. The presence of the Minister of Development Cooperation as well as the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs gives you a unique chance to meet and build on contacts at the highest level!
