As Project Manager in the Strategic Regions team, Maloe works mostly on projects related to Francophone African countries. Since joining NABC in November 2016, Maloe has worked on the organisation of several missions to Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Bénin, Sénégal, Côte d'Ivoire and the Republic of Congo. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 she was project leader of three large incoming missions from Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso to the Netherlands. She also had an important role in the conceptualisation and execution of the (now annual) Francophone Africa Business Forum (FAB Forum) since 2017, with the aim of promoting business opportunities in French-speaking African countries in the Netherlands and linking entrepreneurs from the region to the Dutch private sector. She also organised business seminars for Niger; Senegal, Guinea-Conakry & Cabo Verde; Sierra Leone & Liberia; and Namibia. Through these experiences Maloe has built a strong network and good relations with many Dutch companies active/interested in French-speaking (West) Africa.
Maloe studied International Relations and Political Science at Amsterdam University College (Cum Laude) and Emerging Economies and Inclusive Development at King’s College London (Cum Laude). She wrote her BA thesis on characteristics of China-Africa relations (case study Tanzania) and MA thesis on driving factors of regional migration in Africa. Before joining NABC, Maloe worked as an intern in Tanzania (eMJee Development Consult and UNESCO) and Benin (Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) and travelled through Kenya,Togo and Ghana. Maloe is fluent in Dutch, English and French.
